At the public access to Lake Morey on Lake Morey Road in Fairlee VT.
Trip date is October 2016.

From the parking area is this ramp down to the water.

The Boston Kayaker just launched at Lake Morey.

Left pivot after launch. Will circle Lake Morey clock-wise.

It is first week of October and the leaves are about a week+ before peaking autumn colors.

Lake-front houses.

Continuing my northwards paddle . . .

A rest area with some benches on the west bank of Lake Morey.

Ahead of me is the north west corner of Lake Morey.

There is this group in 3 canoes at the north of the lake.

They have not been moving for a while . . .

Just did a right pivot and now paddling westwards.

I have circled a quarter of Lake Morey already and this group still in the same place.

Will paddle straight ahead to the eastern coast and skip the north end cove on my left.

Now getting close to the east bank of Lake Morey.

Looking to my right, the western side Lake Morey.

Now paddling southwards with the eastern shore on my right.

Now approaching the southern shore of Lake Morey.

Another pivot to my right. Southern shore on my right.

The clubhouse at the southern end of Lake Morey.

A motorized boat on Lake Morey.

The public beach on the southern shore of Lake Morey.

Approaching the western shore.

Another right pivot and I am now paddling northwards.

Facing north with Lake Morey's western shore on my right.

Behind this peninsula jutting out into the water is the ramp where I came from.

Rounding the peninsula . . .

Now I can see the ramp where I put in earlier.

Landed. The information board at the ramp.
Paddle time is 1 hour 15 minutes.
