At Eastman Pond on Road Round the Lake in Grantham NH.
Trip date is July 2016.

The Boston Kayaker on the shore of Eastman Pond in Grantham NH.

Just launched.

Veering to my right, will circle the Eastman Pond counter-clockwise.

Out of the launch cove, will approach the eastern shore.

The Eastman Community Association beach.

Paddling northwards and will follow the eastern shore on my right.

The apartments of Eastman Community Association.

It is before 9am and the sun is still low on the east casting shadow.

Midway along the eastern shore is this small cove on my right.

Not sure who owns this beach at the mouth of the cove.

Continuing my northwards paddle with the eastern shore on my right.

A blue bird on the banks of Eastman Pond.

A swing rope.

The eastern shore is nicely dotted with these big rocks.

Another cove on the east side near the north end of Eastman Pond.

Another cove another private beach.

Bed of water lilies on Eastman Pond.

Nearing the north end of Eastman Pond . . .

In front of me is the north end of Eastman Pond.

Pivoting to my left.

Paddling westwards to approach the western shore.

To my left, Eastman Pond viewed from the north end.

A bit more left pivot.

I am now facing southwards and have the eastern shore on my right.

On the left half of the picture is Eastman Pond Island.

Continuing southwards, now in between the island and the eastern shore.

A family of loons . . .

Two brown-feathered loon chicks with their heads in the water.

One of the adult loons, feathers black and white.

A rower on Eastman Pond.

Kids on the beach playground.

At the center of the picture is the south end of Eastman Pond where I came from.

A turtle on a log on Eastman Pond.

Ducks.

I can see there is a second car there now (belongs to the lake host).

This odd structure is the inlet to the Eastman Pond Dam.

Landed. Paddle time is 1 hour 16 minutes.
