The put in to Ware River is a bit steep but not too hard. Looking north (upriver) on Ware River from the put in at Greenville Park. From the put in looking south is the Red Bridge / Hardwick Road bridge. Greenville Park launch is located at the intersection of Route 32 and Hardwick Road. Ware River looking south from Red Bridge / Hardwick Road bridge. Now at Main Street in the center of Gilbertville MA. East of the bridge is a "formal" canoe launch and parking area. Problem with this launch area is the portage to the river is a bit long. A belvedere overlooking the Ware River from the "formal" launch area.
