Kayaking on Stop River - in Medfield MA Rating: Two Stars - I like small but navigable rivers. This little gem is an island of isolation in the sea of suburbia. The round trip was a good two hours. I saw 5 beavers on the way upriver and another 3 on the way back. A giant 8-foot beaver lodge is also on this route.   Put in at Causeway Street   in Medfield MA. Paddle upriver to Noonhill   Road and return. Finally Noonhill Road bridge. I will beach and stretch my legs on shore. BAck on Stop River, now paddling downstream back to where I started. Same bird flew on the other side. A huge beaver lodge about 8 feet in height on Stop River in Medfield MA. Beavers chewing this tree. Emerging at the other side of Causeway Street. I was on the water for nearly 2 hours.
