Kayaking on Stop River - in Medfield MA

Rating: Two Stars - I like small but navigable rivers. This little gem is an island of isolation in the sea of suburbia. The round trip was a good two hours. I saw 5 beavers on the way upriver and another 3 on the way back. A giant 8-foot beaver lodge is also on this route.

Trip date is June 2012.

The trip plan is as mapped above: paddle upriver to Noonhill Road bridge and return.

High water mark on these plants is about 8 inches higher than current level.
