Kayaking on Saco River - from Buxton ME to Hollis ME

Rating: Two-and-a-Half Stars - This is a quiet water route with tree-lined shores all the way. Saco River was wide and mildly flowing perfect for families or beginners. It rained for 10 minutes or so and we sheltered on the bank under the trees. Paddle time was 1 hour 40 minutes.

  Put in at Route 112 / River
  Road in Buxton ME.
Take out at Route 4A / Bar
  Mills Road in Hollis ME.

The Boston Kayaker just launched into the Saco River in Buxton ME.

It's raining and we decided to shelter on the banks under the trees.

About 10 minutes and the rain has moved on and we're back paddling.
