Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - A smallish pond that I circled in a relaxed one hour. Whole lake surrounded by the greenery of the Rutland State Park.

Boston Kayaker just launched on Rutland State Park's Long Pond.
On left is Route 122.


Turned right southwards.


Today's paddle plan is to circle Long Pond counter-clockwise staying close to the shore on my right.


The pond is totally surrounded by all these greenery of the state park. Nice.

I am approaching the southwest corner of Long Pond.


Rounding this corner, on my right is the southwest cove.

I will check out this cove and see how far I can go.
