At the Fisherman's Landing on Quacumquasit Lake in Brimfield MA.
Trip date is September 2012.

The boat ramp on Quacumquasit Lake.

The Boston Kayaker just launched on Quacumquasit Lake.

Water clean and clear.

I will hug the western coast going south and then on the other side on way back.

I am now on the southern end of Quacumquasit Lake. I will start moving to the other side, the east bank of the lake.

Now paddling northwards, with the east bank on my right.

Pontoon boat.

A fake cat to scare the birds! First time I have seen something like this.

The YMCA cove.

The lake level control and lock.

These 2 ducks like hanging out here at the ramp.

Landed.

Across the road from the ramp is the Quamcumquasit Wildlife Management Area.

The entrance to this wildlife reservation doubles as a parking lot for boat launchers.
