Kayaking on Norton Reservoir - in Norton MA Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - This is a nice round trip route on little body of water but big enough to take a few hours to explore. There are islands, wildlife, and a kayak rental shop on the west shore.   Put in at Route 140 / Mansfield Avenue in   Mansfield MA behind Tsang's Restaurant. Paddle around reservoir   and return in. Just off from the put in looking north. Flowers abloom! Swans and fishermen. One of the islands in the middle of the reservoir. This island has a nice landing spot. Beached myself on the landing spot just to get a closer look. A rock they call home. And toilet! The north-east coast is lined with houses. Another island. Yet another island with its prominent resident. The resident turn out to be a whole family. A group of kayakers hugging the north-west coast. Route 140. Paddling my way back.
