At the Newbedford Reservoir launch parking lot in Acushnet MA.
Trip date is May 2013.

Just launched on the Newbedford Reservoir. A pair of fishermen.

Facing east.

Now heading north.

I can see a bunch of swans in that rookery area.

Turning east. The houses on Carol Street.

A duck in flight over New Bedford Reservoir.

Turning towards the northwestern arm of the reservoir.

I see at least seven turtles in this picture. Can you see them?

This is as north as I want to go . . . too much vegetation already.

Just turned around and now heading back.

I am now on the main body of the reservoir where there is not much water lillies.

The Boston Kayaker has landed.

From the parking lot looking south across the road.
