Kayaking on Neponset River - from Canton MA to Milton MA Rating: Two-and-a-Half Stars - I rate this highly as this route well exceeded my expecations. I thought I will trashy and populated shore but none of this turn out. This scenery of remoteness and wilderness within 20 miles of Boston is hard to believe.   Put in at Signal Hill Reservation on   University Avenue in Canton MA. Take out at Paul's Bridge on   Brush Hill Road in Milton MA. Estimated round trip   distance = 4.5 miles Neponset River   Reservation II   Kayak/canoe rentals available in   summer at Signal Hill Reservation Alternate put at Neponset Street   off map for extra 2+ miles. There is this stream on my right draining silt and water into the Neponset. The in stream and this huge siltflow. The I-95 highway over Neponset River in Canton MA. Finally, Paul's bridge. Take out is to the right just before this bridge. Landed on my right before Paul's bridge. I was on the water for 2 hours and some. Portage from take out to parking lot is about 220 feet. Parking at the take out. The alaternate put in farter south at Neponset Street bridge just off the exit from I-95 North.
