At Wilsons Cottages launch in Moosehead ME.
Trip date is July 2012.

Just launched onto Moosehead Lake. I started early, just after 7am.

I will dash across the dam to the other side. Wilsons Cottages on my left.

The East Outlet Dam is now on my left.

The Boston Kayaker's wife took this photo and the other 2 below from the shore.

Just got to the other side past the East Outlet Dam.

View from the shore (photo above and below).

This trip to the east of the Wilsons Cottages launch was done on a separate day in July 2012.

It is at this point that I ended my northward paddle.

Turning to my right, the islands are now on my right (southerly).

Now paddling back to where I started, coast is on my right.

The East Outlet Dam on my right.

This is the end of trip north of the East Outlet Dam.

This is looking back (the coast is on the left of picture).

Looking back at Wilsons Cottages.

We landed on a desserted shore on sight of our cottages.
