Kayaking on Kennebec River - from Norridgewock ME to Skowhegan ME Rating: Two Stars - I like simple rivers shore monotonously green. Water was flowing slightly. Paddlie time was 2 hours and 18 minutes.   Put in at Oosoola Park ramp on   Route 2 in Norridgewock ME. Take out at foot bridge behind church   on Weston Ave. in Skowhegan ME. The ramp to Kennebec River at Oosola Park. In the background is the Route 201 bridge. Today's kayak buddies: the Boston Kayaker's wife and dogs Saco and Sebec. The Boston Kayaker just launched on the Kennebec River from Oosoola Park. Looking to my left upriver is the Route 201 bridge over the Kennebec. Veering to my right, we will paddle one-way to Skowhegan. Swing rope. An airplane parked on the left bank of the Kennebec River. The dam and hydrostation in Skowhegan now clearly visible. Veering to the right to our take out at the footbridge. On the left end of the footbridge is our take out spot. Paddle time is 2 hours 18 minutes. At the takeout is a small park with some benches.
