Kayaking on Hopkinton State Park and Reservoir - in Hopkinton MA Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - A medium-sized pond/reservoir, the shoreline is mostly undeveloped. We started as indicated in the BostonKayaker map and I paddled to the state park beach and picnic area and got out of our kayaks. The picnic area is surprisingly filled with people at this early part of the day (between 9am and 10am). Took a walk to the dam. We were here for an hour and a half. Was a pleasant morning.   Put in at south corner of the park   in Cedar Street in Hopkinton MA. Paddle around reservoir   and return. Estimated round trip   distance = 2 miles Hopkinton State   Park Picnic   areas Public   beach   Alternate put in at state park ramp.   Park fee applie$. Hopkinton Reservoir   Dam. We paddled to the east coast of the reservoir and plan to hug this coast. An island in Hopkinton Reservoir. I can now see the cars and the state park launch.
