Kayaking on Highland Lake - in Falmouth ME


Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - A sizeable lake that requires 3 hours+ for a round trip. Mostly developed shore lines but still plenty of green stretches. We photographed a bald eagle in flight over Highland Lake. Paddle time is one hour and 54 minutes.

The Boston Kayaker and wife just launched on Highland Lake in Falmouth ME.


From the launch, we veered right northwards.

The plan is to stay close to the shore on our right and circle Highland Lake counter-clockwise.


We are paddling straight cutting off the cove on our right.
