  Put in at Fort Williams Park beach on
  Shore Road in Cape Elizabeth ME. 		Paddle to the light
  house and return. 		Estimated distance
  = 1+ miles 		Portland Head
  Lighthouse 		Casco Bay can
  be choppy!

At Fort Williams Park beach in Cape Elizabeth ME.
Trip date is June 2021.


The Boston Kayaker just launched on Casco Bay from Fort Willams Park.
From the beach, I veered right towards the lighthouse.


Looking to my right . . .





From my wife's camera.

















Approaching this peninsula.


Just rounded the peninsula.


Continuing towards the lighthouse.


Now I can see Portland Head Lighthouse.





This side approaching the more open water and more wavy.











I was thinking of going farther but the choppy waters discouraged me.




















I can see my wife on the walking trail.



Now heading back.















































Paddle time was 28 minutes. That includes about 10 minutes extra just waiting for my wife near the lighthouse.
