Boston Kayaker

Boating on Bluestone Lake - in Hinton WV

Rating: Two Stars - We hired a pontoon boat for this water trip. Really nice views of all those tree-filled hills and mountains. Lake's busy though. There are nice campgrounds with lots of people camped out and enjoying their time lakeside.

Bluestone Dam

Those dots on the water are people fishing on knee-deep water just below the dam.

Bluestone Marina. We rented a pontoon boat.

Getting out of the marina. Above us is the Route 20 bridge over the Bluestone Lake.

Another captain-in-training.

Everyone wants to steer the boat.

We headed south.

We paused for some fishing.

We are headed back north and now going towards the dam.
