Kayaking on Blue Mountain Lake and Eagle Lake - in Blue Mountain Lake NY

Rating: Three Stars - The mountain (Blue Mountain), the lake (Blue Mountain Lake), the town (Blue Mountain Lake), all beautiful and what summers should be in the Adirondacks. Blue Mountain Lake has these islands that are accessible by the public (some islands are clearly private). I took a side trip to Eagle Lake. Also entered Utowana Lake but backed off a few feet into it as the insects are too much.

At the public launch to Blue Mountain Lake. I like this town. Launch is free. Parking is free and right in front of the launch.
