Boston Kayaker

Kayaking on Bare Hill Pond - in Harvard MA

Rating: One Star - This is a pretty pond with islands and coves to explore. Annoying that the big islands are inhabited with those cable/power lines connecting them. Annoying that the beach is for town residents only. Also annoying the $25 launch fee to use the ramp to reduce portage.

Put in at conservation area on

At Warren Avenue in Harvard MA.
Trip date is June 2013.

The launch to Bare Hill Pond will be about 400 feet from this entrance.
So the notice "No vehicles beyond this point" should be complied to in spirit but not in the literal sense.
