Kayaking on Ware River - in Ware MA

Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - A quiet and undeveloped stretch of the Ware River in the town that gave the river its name. I paddled Columbus Day and the foliage colors are just peeking beneath the overcast skies. The Ware River on this stretch was flowing nicely which made a pleasant round trip: harder initially upriver then easier on the way back. I paddled all the way to the Upper Church Street bridge until I see the I can not paddle against the flow anymore. I also paddled the pond-like south of the put in to the dam.
