We put in at the Russell Mills Landing.
July 2011

We paddled southwards on a one-way trip.

On about the middle of our trip, the river was turbulent and wavy and my son fell out of his kayak.
It was only waist-deep but he lost his eyeglasses. :(

We started our trip an hour or so before low-tide so the last half of the trip was on a rising tide and was hard to paddle against.

Lots of people on Demarest Lloyd State Park beach.

Portaging our kayaks to the state park car park at our final destination.
Took us over two hours.

It was moving day for incoming freshmen at nearby UMass Dartmouth. Picture above and down below taken on September 2011.
