The informal put in to Quiambaug Cove is on Wilcox Road in Stonington CT.
Trip date is July 2019.

The put in is unmarked and easy to miss.

Just south of the put in is the Knox Farm Preserve.

I started my trip 3+ hours before high tide. Then my camera disk space became full and I was trying to figure out how to delete up some old pictures and ended up deleting everything.
So this pictures was taken about 20 minutes into my paddle out on the harbor.

At this point, I just turned around and now heading back to where I came from.

The sea is quiet and calm right now.

To my left is the Atlantic Ocean.

At the center of the photo is the rail bridge that I have to cross under to get back.

Paddling under the rail bridge into Quiambaug Cove.

On left is where I launched. I will continue up north.

Approaching the Route 1 bridge.

I will just paddle straight ahead . . .

In front is the north end of the Quiambaug Cove.

Just turned around and now paddling southwards.

Fabulous water-front house.

Under the Route 1 bridge on my way back.
