Kayaking on Moosehead Lake - in Greenville ME Rating: Two-and-a-Half Stars - Launch area was busy with lined up boats waiting for their turn. Very nice weather but on the windy side. We stayed on the sides and close. Paddle time was 52 minutes.   Put in at Kelly's Landing on   Route 6 in Greenville ME. Paddle around West Cove   and return. Trip date is July 2022. Plenty of motorized boats line-up to launch to Moosehead Lake from Kelly's Landing. The Boston Kayaker just launched into Moosehead Lake from Kelly's Landing in Greenville ME. We veered right from launch, and to my right is the Kelly's Landing park and launch area. In front of me is my wife and our dog Sebec. The Boston Kayaker and Saco kayaking on Moosehead Lake in Maine. It was windy and not very long we decided to turn around. Now paddling back to the landing. Slightly choppy waters. An airplane landing on Moosehead Lake. This is the plane that just landed some minutes ago . . . I though of paddling into this inlet to Moosehead Lake . . . Paddling back to the main body of the lake . . . The Boston Kayaker and Saco kayaking on Moosehead Lake in Greenville ME. We will just approach the Kelly's Landing restaurant and take pictures. Now we will paddle the short distance to the takeout spot. Landed. Paddle time is 52 minutes.
