Rating: One-and-a-Half Stars - Cute little pond. Explored the finger coves. Clean waters. Southern cove is a drinking reservoir off-limits to boats and kayaks. Paddle time was 56 minutes.

The put in to Canaan Street Lake is right next to the public beach.








The Boston Kayaker just launched onto Canaan Street Lake.


Veered to my left, will paddle Canaan Street Lake clockwise.














Staring at the northwest finger cove. Will not pursue this cove to the end.


Pivot to right. Will skip the cove on my left and head straight.

Just got past the peninsula, will enter this north middle cove on the left.


Paddling northwards at this north middle cove.

In front is the north end of Canaan Street Lake.


Pivot to right to continue clockwise paddle.

Following the coast on my left, now paddling southwards out of this main north cove.


The peninsula on left separates the north east cove.

At the north east cove is the private beach for the Crescent Campsites.


Pivot to right, continuing my clockwise paddle and now facing southwards.

I am now approaching the reservoir on the south cove.


That white sign on the tree tells me I am not allowed to paddle at the south cove "year round".

Pivot to right. Will skip the reservoir and head to the other side.





These buoy markers clearly tell boaters to stay away.








Now reached the western coast, paddling northwards to where I came from.

















I can see the public beach next to my take out.
