Trip date May 2012. At the Albion Dam parking lot.

Albion Dam

You do not want to kayak onto that . . .

For this trip, as my son is with me, I will put in just below the Manville Dam and do a one-way paddle to Albion Dam.
I just launched from that put in.

Tried to paddle upstream but I can not go very far.

Looking north, the Manville Dam is in the horizon in this picture.

Manville Dam picture taken earlier (not from a kayak).

I turned around and now facing downstream. Onwards to Albion Dam.

To my right are bikers on the Blackstone bike trail.

I can now see the Albion Dam's concrete structure poking out on the right bank.
I can hear it too!
